Lt. Saurabh Kalia of 4 JAT Regiment of the Indian Army laid down his
life at the young age of 22 for the nation while guarding the
frontiers at Kargil.


His parents, indeed the Indian Army and nation itself,
lost a dedicated, honest and brave son.

He was the first officer to detect and inform about
Pakistani intrusion. Pakistan captured him and his patrol party of 5
brave men alive on May 15, 1999 from the Indian side of LOC.

They were kept in captivity for three weeks and
subjected to unprecedented brutal torture, evident from their bodies handed over
by Pakistan Army on June 9, 1999.

The Pakistanis indulged in dastardly acts of inflicting burns on these Indian officers with Cigarettes, piercing their ears with hot rods, removing their eyes before puncturing them and breaking most of the bones and teeth.

They even chopped off various limbs and private organs of the Indian soldiers besides inflicting unimaginable physical and mental torture.

After 22 days of torture, the brave soldiers were ultimately shot dead. A detailed post-mortem report is with the Indian Army. Pakistan dared to humiliate India this way flouting all international norms.

They proved the extent to which they can degrade humanity. However, the Indian soldiers did not break while undergoing all this unimaginable barbarism, which speaks volumes of their patriotism, grit, determination, tenacity and valour - something all of India should be proud of.

Sacrificing oneself for the nation is an honour every soldier would be proud of, but no parent, army or nation can accept what happened to these brave sons of India. I am afraid every parent may think twice to send their child in the armed forces if we all fall short of our duty in safeguarding the PRISONERS OF WAR AND LET THEM MEET THE FATE OF LT.SAURABH KALIA.

It may also send a demoralising signal to the army personnel fighting for the Nation that our POWs in Pak cannot be taken care of. It is a matter of shame and disgust that most of Indian Human Rights Organisations by and large, showed apathy in this matter.


Through this humble submission, may I appeal to all the civilized people irrespective of colour, caste, region, religion and political lineage to stir their conscience and rise to take this as a NATIONAL ISSUE !!!

International Human Rights Organizations must be approached to expose and pressure Pakistan to identify, book and punish all those who perpetrated this heinous crime to our men in uniform.
If Pakistan is allowed to go unpunished in this case, we can only imagine the consequences.

Responding To Challenge

I normally used to go to beach with two of my friends daily . when compared to them i am little bit slow in knowing about things . They usually criticize me for my behavior . once they crippled my feelings to the core by commenting on my future life ,for everything there is a deadline ,i kept quiet and cryed like anything inside .I returned home with a heavy heart . gradually i am getting out of it ,that time i read an article ,which deals with responding to critics and challenge .

That article really made an drastic change in my life and in my mind too . so I decided not to care for critics. since world is a funny place where peoples are critisized at the beginning ,when they achieved success ,They will praise them ......... so its depends on how we take it ....

"An Action Contemplated in mind should be protected as a secret mantra ,it should not be divulged to others until it get success "

Our Indian economy is so weak and in a Critical stage . when compared to small nations like Singapore,Malaysia ,Taiwan etc. Our growth rate is really weak .The only weakness in our country is , none of our citizen's have public interest .Everyone seems to be very selfish,and working for there own life . I wont say it's wrong but we should take care about our nation too . If we wont take care of our mother then who else ?. she is our first mother .It's our duty to make Mother India to be proud and wealthy and a great place to live on .. lets start thinking and take necessary actions against those who stops our national growth for there individual purposes(who ever it make be ? ) .......

A Gentleman was once visiting a temple under construction.
In the temple premises, he saw a sculptor making an idol of God.
Suddenly he saw, just a few meters away, another identical idol was lying.
Surprised he asked the sculptor, do you need two statutes of the same idol.
No said the sculptor. We need only one, but the first one got damaged at the last stage.
The gentleman examined the statue.No apparent damage was visible.

Where the damage is? Asked the gentleman.
The sculptor informed that there is a scratch on the nose of the idol.

Where are you going to keep the idol?Asked the gentleman.
The sculptor replied that it will be installed on a pillar 20 feet high.

The gentleman asked- When the idol will be 20 feet away from the eyes of
the beholder, who is going to know that there is scratch on the nose anyway?

The sculptor looked at the gentleman, smiled and said, "The God knows it and I know it ".
The desire to excel should be exclusive of the fact whether someone appreciates it or not.

A Wonderful Story for all ... Please read on ...


There was a little boy visiting his grandparents on their farm. He was
given a slingshot to play with out in the woods. He practiced in the woods,
but he could never hit the target. Getting a little discouraged, he headed
back for dinner.



As he was walking back he saw Grandma's pet duck. Just out of impulse, he
let the slingshot fly, hit the duck square in the head, and killed it. He
was shocked and grieved. In a panic, he hid the dead duck in the wood pile,
only to see his sister watching! Sally had seen it all, but she said
nothing.

After lunch the next day Grandma said, "Sally, let's wash the dishes." But
Sally said, "Grandma, Johnny told me he wanted to help in the kitchen."
Then she whispered to him, "Remember the duck?" So Johnny did the dishes.

Later that day, Grandpa asked if the children wanted to go fishing and
Grandma said, "I'm sorry but I need Sally to help make supper." Sally just
smiled and said," Well that's all right because Johnny told me he wanted to
help." She whispered again, "Remember the duck?" So Sally went fishing and
Johnny stayed to help.

After several days of Johnny doing both his chores and Sally's, he finally
couldn't stand it any longer. He came to Grandma and confessed that he had
killed the duck. Grandma knelt down, gave him a hug, and said, "Sweetheart,
I know. You see, I was standing at the window and I saw the whole thing,
but because I love you, I forgave you. I was just wondering how long you
would let Sally make a slave of you."

Thought for the day and every day thereafter?

Whatever is in your past, whatever you have done ... and the devil keeps
throwing it up in your face (lying, cheating, debt,fear, bad habits,
hatred, anger, bitterness, etc.) whatever it is.

You need to know that God was standing at the window and He saw the whole
thing.

that you are forgiven. He's just wondering how long you will let the devil
make a slave of you.

The great thing about God is that when you ask for forgiveness, He not only
forgives you, but He forgets. It is by God's grace and mercy that we are
saved.

Aayirathil Oruvan

After a Fantastic and mind blowing performance in paruthiveeran, Karthi now working on Selvaraghavan's film Aayirathil Oruvan. Nearly Forty percentage of the shooting was completed in Kerala and the second session would be in Rajasthan and the third one would be at Hyderabad .Lots of new camera techniques and graphics are used in this film. There are going to be Six songs in the movie, out of that one song from MGR's Aayirathil Oruvan will be Re -mixed . Another five songs will be composed by Yuvan shankar raja. Reema Sen and Andrea is the female leads. Karthi is extremely happy to work with selva and yuvan . After paruthiveeran it's gonna be a big success for young karthi ....
