Dhanush's next movie Padikkathavan shooting was formally launched in the Chennai Studios. Featuring Tamanna opposite to him, the movie is directed by Suraj.

Dhanush got the title from its original owner N Veerasamy with the help of Rajini. It is the story of how an illiterate youth belongs to a poor family becomes a business magnet in life with rightly applying his intelligence and presence of mind.



Dhanush early said in the press meet that , "I'm sure that Suraj's script has all the stuff and worth to become a super hit. I hope it wouldn't spoil the name of the original one starred by Rajini."

Are Superstar titles really that lucky for Dhanush? There seem to be takers for this theory.
