HE is the Nightmare for spinners .
He is the successful Indian captain.
He is the Bengal Tiger .
He is the Prince of kolkata.
He is the GOD OF offside .

Ya... it's none other Than the Great Indian cricketer Sourav Ganguly.

The left-handed Ganguly is a Great batsman , with over 11,000 runs to his credit. Despite ODI success, his Test place was often lost to younger players towards the later stages of his career. On October 7 2008, Ganguly announced that the Test series against Australia starting that month would be his last.

He recently announced his retirement from international cricket ,eventhough his cricket life consists of many ups and downs . He his the one who took Indian cricket to the top of the Fame .He introduced many young talents n our team and created a strong team for the future, especially "Dhoni,yuvaraj,harbhajan" are dada's boys .Ganguly is credited with having nurtured the careers of many young players who played under him.


He is famous for his aggression in the field and for his captaincy .He is the one who took the captaincy position with a brave heart and proved the worth of Indian team in future ,when none of the players had courage to lead the team after the match fixing scandals .

He usually opens the innings, he tries to take the advantage of fielding restrictions by advancing down the pitch and hitting pace bowlers over extra cover and mid-off. He is also famous for attacking spin bowlers. Due to excellent co-ordination , he picks the length of the ball early, comes down the pitch and hits the ball over mid-on or midwicket, often for a six.



He Proved that he is the real DADA.He wont retire from the Hearts of Indian fans , his place cannot replaced by anyone in the team . The Indian team surely miss Dada and his Contribution .....
